25th B-Day at work....

So I decided that if I had to spend my birthday weekend at work, i might as well live it up and have some fun with it!! So my mom (a nurse) brought in me a cake for to kick off my birthday!! (yes in deed i did share with my co-workers!) So as you know i am a healthcare worker in a hospital! So anyone who works/or has worked in health care will never look at a bedpan the same again.....


Thank you Rinaldo's bakery for making my cake and my mom for the fun!

"Camp In" Sleepover....

Friday night was my little girls first sleepover! and of course mommy had to make it extra special! So i themed it up for and go all out for her and her little friend!!! So mommy started planing early....and by Friday night I had it all planed out, from the indoor campfire to making sure they had their S'mores! And of course they had to have a tent to stay in, i was just going to use a card table but my husband couldn't have that for his little girl, she had to have the best! So he got up early and made her one! They enjoyed themselves and had a blast, even stayed up past their bedtime! (tho they only made it till 11pm)

Check E Cheese.....

Today is my last day off before having to return to work after being off for 21days due to my injury (8 stitches to the finger)! So my mother and I decided to take the kids to Chuck E Cheeses. It was a great time! The kids had a blast, and so did we. It wasn't supper crazy! The kids got to eat dinner, ride some rides, play some games, and win tickets! What more could a kid want?!? Jordan (little brother) won a ton of tickets and enjoyed playing the games. Where Lilly on the other hand was more into the rides and games where you pretend that your driving and shooting things! But in the end they both won a decent amount of tickets and each got something they wanted. Then granny ended the night off by getting them each a t-shirt to remember the night by! After a night of pizza, games, and family bonding it is now time to get into our PJ's, thank the Lord for this wonderful day and hit the sheets!!! So Goodnight to all!! :-)

Baby Shower Fun.....

For my cousins second child we had a little family luncheon for her at Olive Garden! Not only do they have yummy food, but it was a great time to sit down and just spend some one on one time with the girls in the family! Even the little kids enjoyed it!

I think that a family luncheon with the girls are not just something that should be done in time when something exciting is happening, so maybe we should do it more often,maybe once a month (at least the ones that can) But hey a baby is always a great time to get together to celebrate!

Bath Paint.....

If you were to ask my 4yr old what her favorite time of the day is, she will hands down tell you bath time!! She wakes up asking for a bath, goes through the day trying to sneak one in and then again at night....she would live in the water if i would let her. As much as she loves to play with her barbies, foam numbers and letters, she tends to get board with the same bath toys. So when i came across bath paints that you could make yourself i was amazed! And of course when i has said something to her about it she went crazy! "What you mean i can paint and take a bath at the same time mommy? What is better than that?!?" So we did it and oh wow talk about hours of play!!!!


All you need 1cup bubble bath, 4 tbs cornstarch and a drop or two of food coloring

Our Valentines Day.......

Nothing like waking up to my little girl squealing as she opened her mailbox to find the one thing shes been begging for in the valentine day aisle at the store....

.......Then she comes running and jumped on me and showers me with kisses! :-) what a wonderful way to wake up!!! No better way to start off that kind of morning than making waffles and spending most of the morning playing. Then to top off the great morning by making princess valentine day cookies with my little princess!!!

PS: How stinking cute!!!!! (never seen these before)

Then off to Olive Garden we went for lunch! Yum!

Just to come home, climb into some comfy clothes and enjoy the rest of the day together!!!! Now its cuddling up on the couch in our pjs to watch Alvin and Chipmunks Valentine before calling in the night and heading off to sleep! :-)
